Gazelle Buchholtz, Associate

​Gazelle focuses on communication of environmental subjects. She holds creative writing workshops centered on the natural world, and she offers 1-2-1 support to untie knots in your text work from help with formulating ideas, feedback & editorial work to text production.
The topic ‘ecolinguistics’ has her attention. It's about how language creates the story of life-sustaining interactions of humans, other species and the physical environment.

​Gazelle also works part-time as climate change coordinator for Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector. 

​Climate friendly action in everyday life
“I like the idea of being vegan, but I’m not there yet. For example, I like eggs. I prefer from places where the chickens have a good life, so I go egg hunting on my bicycle. My route takes 45 min. to check out two houses selling eggs by the door and with chickens in the garden. If I return empty handed, I think to the times before shopping was invented and people were gathering food. Whether I find eggs or not, I get exercise on a climate friendly means of transport.”
