He runs workshops about communication and behaviour change in relation to climate change. Since 2016 Euri has focused his work on designing and implementing projects at European level. He has been the project coordinator of "A Tale of Two Futures", "Environmental Learning Illustrated", "Breakthrough for Resilience: People, Places, and Communities" and "Sustainability, Heritage, Health". He is also co-cordinator of the Icelandic project "Once Upon Your Time: Storytelling for Preventing Early School Leaving". Euri is coordinating the projects "Youth Forest", "Build Green", "Biodiversity Outdoor Learning", and "Biodiversity Illustrated". All these projects aim at developing new ways to engage people in environmental issues that are fun and use the arts, walking routes, storytelling and even treasure hunts to learn about topics that range from saving energy and resources to biodiversity and what people can do to protect it. Euri works with organisations in Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Poland, Greece, Sweden, Iceland, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Portugal and North Macedonia, and he is expanding his network of partner organisations that bring in new skills to implement initiatives and projects in environmental education, education for sustainability, climate change and resilience.
"I rarely fly for holidays, preferring to spend them near home. For the past 5 years, I have spent my summer holidays walking the "St James Way" a pilgrimage route that runs for 500 miles from the French border to the city of Santiago in North-west Spain. I have sometimes walked for a month without taking any motor transportation, but in the end, I was sorry it was not 500 miles more!
