​Resilience Workshops

Our resilience workshops provide participants with the time and space to develop their personal resilience so they feel better, more confident and equipped to deal with and change difficult situations. We tailor each workshop to the needs of the participants and the sponsoring group or organisation, for example community volunteers or staff, NGO workers, or the employees of businesses, social enterprises or government agencies.

​Resilience is not just the ability to ‘bounce back’ and keep going in a difficult situation. What’s even more important is the ability to ‘break through’, discovering new sources of inner strength to be better able to change the situation for the better.
Carefully designed and sensitively facilitated, each workshop offers participants the opportunity to:
  • Learn from your experiences and from others, and to identify and nurture the seeds of optimism and hope.
  • Explore what you need to support themselves and their colleagues to keep motivated and strong.
  • Share the resources which you have found to be effective.
  • Learn how to use new tools and approaches which will support you and your family, friends and colleagues through challenging times.
  • Gain the knowledge and confidence to seek out new approaches to use the lessons of adversity to grow beyond.
Support from the Big Lottery Fund enabled us to develop and pilot 1 day and half day workshops that we can now tailor to your specific needs.  Our Erasmus + project, Breakthrough for Resilience, working with European Partners has also informed our work in this area.

We also work 1-1 with individuals on a mentoring basis to build personal resilience.
