Talking about climate change – whether it is a new topic or one you have been exploring in your organisation for some time – can be challenging and depressing, but it can also be uplifting.
This workshop-based approach was created in collaboration with the Scottish Government, with the aim introduce people gently to the challenging topic of climate change and how to best respond. |

Between 2016 and 2018; The Surefoot Effect helped develop and then facilitated more than 40 Climate Conversations on behalf of the Scottish Government. The results, these conversations and other Surefoot workshops, were used as input for the Scottish Government Climate Change Plan. You can see more information about these workshops below.

The work with Climate Conversations on behalf of the Scottish Government showed people are generally aware of climate change as a political issue and a practical problem. They are also aware that individual and governmental action is needed to tackle it.
Climate Conversation groups also highlighted the need for ambitious and holistic future visions, and a transparent and consistent approach to climate change across all governments.
